MLP Comic: Benevolent Celestia by Dunnstar MLP Comic: Benevolent Celestia by Dunnstar
Please tell me I'm not the only one who was wondering this? What Celestial diety just uses an entire society as some sort of testing ritual.

I'm starting to understand why she's considered a troll.

Edit: Minor border tweak and font color change.

Let's be honest: after more than a thousand years of ruling over a quasi-medieval kingdom, you'd start to treat civilizations as being expendable too!

Think about it... Celly and Lulu went after Sombra the first time, they trounce the bastard, he curses the entire freaking city and the surrounding land.

Send the plucky heroine; the bad guys never take them seriously and thus lose horribly.

Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one that was thinking this. Oh Celestia, the hijinx you come up with!

Beautiful style, by the by--probably one of the best I've seen, to be honest.

"Meh, civilisations come and civilisations go, Lulu. Worse comes to worse, we just need to find something to do until either the mortals rebuild or the next dominant species evolves. But seeing the look on that psycho little Unicorn's face? That's something that lives forever!"

God does.

Earth is the testing ground for 'evil'.

See "Time Bandits" to understand. ;3

It is a child's cartoon with screentime for main cast, not for princesses... jesus.

What are you talking about? Celestia gets all sorts of screentime. She even dropped by for that Fall-weathered friends episode. An episode where she had ZERO Relevance. I think she can drop in to save an empire. I mean, unless she's busy?

Or, you know, unless it is a cartoon for little kids that is centered around main cast and the obstacles they overcome to teach the kids some simple morals?

Considering this is also a comic meant to poke fun of little errors in cartoons. Aren't you taking a hypocritical stance. Your critiquing my COMIC for critiquing a CARTOON. I mean the irony is delicious.

So, you critiquing a cartoon perfectly knowing why the writers played the episode and characters in a such a way and yet you still doing it? Well, speaking of being a facetious hypocrite... Also, you sound rather upset now. I'm sorry, didn't mean to hit the soft spot.
